If they aren't selling that artwork at the end as a poster, it's a missed opportunity. That artwork is gold. I can just imagine a giant mural of it in The Great Tome of Nazarik.

This was an awesome anime. Sad there isn't a fourth season yet, but it was one hell of a journey.

They're currently making it, as well as a following movie.
Btw, you can read the light novels right now, if you're interested to see how the story goes on.

If that's the only issue, you should try audiobooks.
There is a YouTube channel called "Overlord Audiobooks".
They do a fantastic job because they read the LNs themselves, instead of letting a machine do it.

If you go in the comment section of their video "Official Overlord Audiobook announced", you'll find a Drive link to even download their audiobooks, so you won't need an internet connection to listen to them.

So far, they've done:
- Volume 1 to 8 (so, in anime terms, from S1Ep1 to S3Ep8. Tons of scenes were skipped in the anime.);

- some side stories (never animated. They're canon, however.);

- "The Vampire Princess of the Lost Country" bonus volume (never animated).
This is an autoconclusive What If? story that shows what'd have happened, had Momonga been isekai-ed without Nazarick, in a different country and 200 years before the canon events, leading him to meet a "young" Evileye.
You get to learn more about Momonga as a person and about Evileye's backstory.
It also features a major battle where Momonga even uses the Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown.

In that case, you can just access YouTube once to get the link of the folder, then just download the audiobooks from there (I'd give you the link directly, but Disqus doesn't allow it).
Of course, if you like what they do, you should listen directly from their channel.

Regarding Skeleton Knight...
- the protagonist has the personality of an average shounen MC.
If a person needs saving or even if they need the tiniest of help, he'll do so (so don't expect anything remotely like Overlord);

- the MC is OP from the start;

- it's a black-and-white world (don't expect gray areas. You won't find many, if any at all, but I stopped reading after a while, so dunno if they later introduced at least one complex character.);

- the beginning is VERY slow.
Dunno if they went the "faithful adaptation" route or if they went the "summary route". If they did go with the "summary" (which is very likely, since that's what they usually do when the source material is a LN), then the slow beginning won't be an issue;

- the MC is not an actual skeleton.

All-in-all, as long as you don't have high expectations or assume that it'll be even vaguely similar to Overlord, it'd be something nice to watch in your free time.
That is, if you like shounen. Otherwise, don't waste time.

He does kill enemies so that's a positive, but yeah, nothing like Overlord.

I liked Stronoff but........... Oh well, sucks to be him. He would of died to the Slane Theocracy anyways had Ainz not shown up. Too bad so sad.
